SINT MAARTEN - 2007 Our last vacation was in January 2006, in Amsterdam, where it was rather cold. This time Melanie and Chris insisted on a warmer destination! SAINT MARTIN - 2007 The southern half of this tropical island, called Sint Maarten, is part of the Netherlands Antilles. The northern half is part of the French West Indies and is called Saint Martin. It is the smallest island to be divided between two nations. NEW YORK - 2006 Capital of commerce, finance and culture. Home to the United Nations, the Yankees, and more than 8 million people. New York City is a City of the World.
